This project was to take pictures of line and shape. My pictures were taken around my house, outside my house, and in the locker room. The subject matter varied from plants, to tiles, to walls, and to a hockey skate. My pictures are close to the subject matter, the pictures were taken from about a foot to a few inches away. The point of view of my pictures also varied from straight on, to looking from below. Six of my photos were taken horizontally and the other two were taking vertically. The only picture that somewhat followed the rule of thirds is the picture with the shovel. The ground going horizontal would be the bottom, the white wall going horizontal would be the middle, and the shingles would be the top, and this would display the rule of thirds. The photo that led the viewers eye through the work is the picture of the flower, the center of the flower would be the focal point and the focal point of the picture. The petals then lead the viewers eye through the picture.
